LAN Security Assessment (LANSA)
This assessment targets a sample of users' desktops and laptops to gain an overall characterization of the level of security implemented within the user computing environment. It includes:
- On-site vulnerability and security assessment of a representative sample of the Company's desktops and laptops
- Manual review of configurations, virus protection, firmware, and patches
- Manual validation and interpretation of results
- Detailed remediation advice and reporting
The LANSA is similar to the CASA but is targeted at desktops and laptops. Like the CASA, the LANSA exposes vulnerabilities and weaknesses in network components by analyzing communication services, operating systems, unprotected ports, applications, and router, switch, and firewall configurations.
