Blind Visibility and Exposure Analysis (BVEA)

The Blind Visibility and Exposure Analysis (BVEA) is comprised of:

  • Discovery and enumeration of the Company's networks, domains, servers, and other critical network information without prior direction from the Company
  • Internet footprint that characterizes the Company's Internet presence and susceptibility to targeted attacks
  • Recommendations for administration of public databases and Internet resources to minimize information that is available about the Company's networks and connected systems.

During the Blind Visibility and Exposure Analysis Illumant will analyze the Company's Internet presence to assess each network's susceptibility to a directed attack, as well as any proprietary information discoverable on the Internet. All publicly available information about the Company's networks is obtained via a variety of tools and resources, including Internet databases. This information includes domain ownership, net block information, authoritative domain name servers and mail servers, as well as, any network information whose ownership may be obscured from simple queries.
